As every year, the World Clash was held this weekend at the Amazura club in New York. And once again, it was Japan's Mighty Crown who won, taking the trophy home for the third time. A narrow victory over Bass Odyssey, at the end of a colourful night that notably featured original clashes between selectors and deejays, with David Rodigan (winner of the Vintage Cup Clash, after taking the Riddim Clash last month) facing Ninja Man, and Beenie Man up against Tony Matterhorn (winner of the Celebrity Cup Clash). Titled Game Over, this edition was the last to be held in New York.
