Third World celebrate thirty years

The legendary band Third World are celebrating their 35th anniversary this year. For the occasion, the release of yet another album in their long discography has already been announced. We already know that this new opus, titled "Third World And Friends", should feature several updated versions of the band's standards, such as 1865 (96 Degrees in the Shade) (produced for the occasion by Stephen and Damian Marley) or Sense of purpose. Anthony B. and Tarrus Riley are also expected to join the project for features. Third World, who toured heavily in 2007 on every continent, should continue on the road in 2008, notably with a European tour to celebrate the occasion.
