After Blue Moon in Paris, another emblematic record shop has just shut up shop: Dub Vendor. Open since 1980, the famous London record shop has just lost its Ladbroke Grove den, a paradise for record diggers, which will close its doors at the end of June. The reason: the lease is expiring.

With this closure, the Dub Vendor team intends to concentrate its efforts on its second shop, in Clapham Junction, and on the online sale of tracks. The Dub Vendor team fully intends to leave Ladbroke Grove with music and is organising a big farewell party for the occasion on Wednesday 25 June 2008 at 12 Acklam Road.
