While we are still waiting for news of the Alliance Crew album, Wayne Marshall is putting the finishing touches to his compilation project, due out in June.
Titled “True Story”, this CD should include a mix of new Marshall tracks with various dubplates by other artists, such as Bounty Killer, Mavado, Busy Signal, Bling Dawg and Future Fambo of course, but also Sean Paul, Damian and Stephen Marley, Demarco and Esco.
Most of the tracks should be previously unreleased, skilfully blending dancehall and hip-hop influences, and the mix is by Max Glazer of Federation Sound.
Note that a DVD will also be available with this “True Story”, illustrating the work done in the studio by Marshall and his cohorts to bring their project to fruition.
