With "Atomic Subsonic", Dubmatix delivered one of the nice surprises of early 2007. Back at his machines, the Canadian producer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist has put the finishing touches to a new album, "Renegade Rockers". Although French distribution will have to wait until September, the new opus is already available on Dubmatix's official site.
Weaving the same electro-reggae-dub thread as the previous albums, "Renegade Rockers" once again brings in Jamaican heavyweights, here in large numbers (Sugar Minott, Michael Rose, Alton Ellis, Pinchers, Willie Williams, Linval Thompson, Ranking Joe), amid Canadian artists (including Raffa and Rasta Reuben, whom we had already heard on "Atomic Subsonic").
All the tracks can be heard on Dubmatix's official site.
