With two new projects, the autumn looks busy for the French label Irie Ites, based in Le Mans.
First comes a new riddim, due out in mid-September as singles, called Only solution (after the Lorenzo song he was already performing live). The instrumental, produced by Mafia & Fluxy, long-standing partners of the label, features regulars such as Jah Mason, Perfect, Sugar Roy & Conrad Crystal, Lutan Fyah and Chezidek, plus a newcomer to the Irie Ites stable, Sena, a singer originally from Ghana who lives in Hungary.
The second project is the CD compilation "From Zion to Jamdown", which gathers a selection of singles produced by the label on the Mafia & Fluxy riddims between 2005 and 2008: 40 tracks in all, mixed over the Borderline, Zion, Rocking time and Down in Jamaica riddims or the brand-new Only solution, along with unreleased tracks (Malijah on the Only Solution, Lorenzo on the Down in Jamaica, Sugar Roy & Conrad Crystal on the Zion riddim) and exclusive dubplates to discover.
