Last week, the Golden Voices Festival was refused permission by Toulouse City Hall to be held in Sesquières park, unsuitable for hosting festivalgoers and campers (news of 11/08/2008).
In the end, an agreement was reached on Wednesday 13 August with Pierre Cohen, MP and mayor of Toulouse. The festival will be postponed to early September and will take place at the Zénith de Toulouse, in co-production with the city, and will be tightened to two days, 6 and 7 September, instead of the original four. The line-up, which will be reshuffled, will be announced shortly.
