Buoyed by her recent successes (including Keep it to yourself, produced by Don Corleon, currently in the charts), Queen Ifrica has just signed a contract with VP Records, joining Etana, Tanya Stephens and Lady Saw on the label's roster. Having been part of the Jamaican musical landscape for so long, Derrick Morgan's daughter will now be able to release her first album.

The title of the forthcoming opus, due in the first quarter of 2009, has not yet been revealed, but according to the latest reports an album called "Fyah Muma" was in preparation, mainly with Flames / Penthouse productions. We would not be far wrong in expecting to find her recent hits Below the waist and Daddy don't touch me there on it.
