An entire generation is fading away: two years after the death of Mortimer Planno (see the news of 07/03/2006), Vincent "Tata" Ford, another of Bob Marley's mentors, died on Sunday 28 December 2008. A loyal friend of Bob Marley and the Wailers, who rehearsed at his place, Tata is officially the author of the lyrics of No Woman No Cry (Bob Marley later acknowledged that he was the true author and that he had ceded the rights to him).
