A veteran artist in Germany, his involvement in reggae going back to the 80s, Uwe Banton has just released his second album, "Rightful place", on the German label Mkzowo records.
After "Jah roots", released in 2006, the singer from Lage went back into the studio to make 16 new tracks, mostly self-produced, in addition to the single Money fool, released in 2008.
Uwe Banton relied in particular on riddims from the Austrian collective House of riddim and the French Tune in crew, as well as on several features, among others with the Jamaicans Earl Sixteen and Flourgon.
