We finally know a little more about Buju Banton's next trial, after the first was annulled because the jury was unable to agree on a verdict (news of 28/09/2010).
Although everything suggested that this new court appearance would take place in December, the new trial will in fact begin in February. His lawyers requested a postponement so that Gargamel could join his family in the meantime.
The request was granted by Judge James Moody, pushing the trial back to February, with no precise date fixed for the moment. Buju Banton must still obtain approval from the immigration services before being released on bail.
