We had discovered the singles Non je ne regrette rien (a Piaf cover with U-Roy) and Quitter Paname, as a prelude to their new (and third) album. "Echos du temps", as it is called, will hit the shops on 18 February 2011. Recorded between the Tuff Gong studios in Kingston and Humble Hark (Manjul's studio) in Mali, this new opus is made up of 13 tracks including features with U-Roy and Winston McAnuff and his son Matthew McAnuff.
It is this album, in a limited edition and in promo format, that is being given away with every concert ticket bought (news of 03/12/2010). With the concert "Danakil and Friends" at the Zénith de Paris on Friday 18 March 2011 in their sights.
