After the enormous promotion for Clarks shoes with his trilogy produced by CR203 Record, Vybz Kartel is going to launch his own brand of shoes. Christened "Addi's", they should see the light of day this year. The deejay told the Jamaica Star that the hype generated by his tracks made him take the plunge: "Seeing how powerful it was in terms of product marketing made me decide to capitalise on my knack for setting trends."
And so the branded shoes and trainers will be launched in the spring. Made in Vietnam, they will only be sold in Jamaica, once he has found the distributor he still lacks.
That is not all: the deejay will also launch T-shirts, belt buckles and military-inspired dog tags. Not to mention his famous Cake Soap, which should also be put on the market this year.
