A symbol of one of the most improbable encounters in music, the collaboration between the Jamaicans of Twinkle Brothers and the Polish musicians of Trebunie Tutki has lasted almost 20 years.
It was in 1992 that Norman Grant and his band tried a first recording experiment, titled "Higher Heights", with the traditional music group from the Tatra mountains. Three more albums followed, the latest of which came out last year.
After several European tours, the Yardie-Polish combo will play France for the first time on Sunday 8 May at the Elysée-Montmartre.
