There is no shortage of nights stamped with the label Tribute to Bob Marley. The "Rhythm & Soul" night taking place at La Bellevilloise on Thursday 19 May is sure to be of interest: Afrika Bambaataa will be on stage. Beyond the event of the father of hip-hop and the Zulu Nation coming to town, we are promised a night like no other, since Afrika Bambaataa has agreed to play along with the tribute to the most famous Jamaican, and is announcing a set made up of the best reggae gems from his box.

Also on the bill is the sound system Soul Stereo, which thus begins its residency at La Bellevilloise, at a rate of 2 Thursdays a month. The Rhythm & Soul nights are thus set to become a regular fixture. The next announced guests are Bitty McLean and Alpheus, and a tribute night to King Tubby with Anthony Red Rose and Mad Professor in a "live dub show".
