Accused of murder, conspiracy, shooting and illegal possession of a firearm, Ninjaman has been in custody since March 2009. His trial, repeatedly postponed, may not take place before the end of the year. He appeared before the court yesterday, and the hearing was adjourned until 28 November 2011.
In December 2010, his lawyers had applied for bail, which the court finally rejected because of threatening letters sent to witnesses. Ninjaman is in custody with his 20-year-old son and two other men, all charged with murder following the death of a 20-year-old man in March 2009.
