Mondomix magazine and its website have been working for 13 years to uncover and promote new artists. A free medium, Mondomix is taking the full brunt of the slowdown in the cultural and advertising sectors and is struggling to find the means to fund itself.

While the next issue of the magazine will come out in September (a special festival issue will bridge the gap this summer), a benefit night is being held on 8 July at the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, from 8pm until dawn.
It is an eclectic night, true to the spirit of the magazine, opening with an acoustic first half that brings fado and bossa nova together, as Portuguese singer António Zambujo welcomes Brazilian Marcio Faraco. Winston McAnuff and the Bazbaz Orchestra then present their new album, "A Bang". Bumcello All Stars will go on to welcome Ballaké Sissoko, Mayra Andrade, Ibrahim Maalouf (and others still…).
The night finally turns electronic with DJs RKK, Dj Click feat. Valentina Casula, Secousse, Big Buddha, Stansmith (Staycalm!) and Pat Shanga, all set against projections by the VJ collective Yeta.
