This is the big moment for the French trumpeter Tribuman. After recording horns for several artists (Apple Gabriel, Earl 16, Tippa Irie, Dr Ring Ding, Vernon Maytone, Junior Murvin...), Tribuman is releasing his first solo album "Underground International", as a free, legal download on the dub label Libre comme l'air (LCL).
"With this album I wanted to lay my trumpet and my "raggamuffin" vocal technique over several musical backdrops, from dub to breakbeat," explains Tribuman. He shares the tracks according to the encounters he has had all over Europe in recent years: Solo Banton, Lyricson, Jamalski, Slonesta, KRSA…
Check it out on the Libre Comme l'Air website.
Meanwhile, Tribuman is busy preparing the new album by Brinsley Forde, Aswad's singer, with the Dutch outfit Not Easy At All Productions and Jah Solid Rock.
