The 17th MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards will be held on 3 November 2012 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. As every year, one category rewards the best Reggae artist.
Five Jamaicans will compete for the award: Sean Paul, Damian Marley (already nominated last year with Nas), Popcaan, Konshens, and Mr Vegas.
You can vote for your favourite artist on the official website (you have to be registered to vote).
Last year, Alborosie took the trophy (news of 06/10/2011), in a category from which Jah Cure had been eliminated after the organisers realised he had spent time in prison (news of 09/09/2011).
