Across the Channel, Wembley Arena is set to vibrate to the sound of heavy bass on Wednesday 7 November for Red Bull Culture Clash 2012.

The event offers a resounding line-up, with four sound systems from four different genres: Major Lazer, Annie Mac / Magnetic Man, Boy Better Know and the legendary UK sound Channel One. All will be joined by numerous guests.
After the regional clashes in Bristol, Glasgow and Birmingham, held over the past few days, the omnipresent Austrian brand has planned to do things in a big way: "Four stages, four sounds, one winner", says the poster.
Flying the flag for roots reggae, the "veterans" Mikey Dread and Ras Kayleb of Channel One will welcome prestigious guests during their session: the Jamaican singjay Anthony B, as well as their compatriots Brother Culture, Navigator and Solo Banton.
Already present at the 2010 edition, Channel One will defend itself with the 45s and dubplates that have made their legend over a quarter of a century. "Nowadays everything is digital, and we try to keep that "analog" feeling", Ras Kayleb says in an interview given to BNTL (see the video link below). "Because I've always said that in my heart, digital has no heart."
This year, it was possible (for Brits only) to put together a playlist on the Red Bull Culture Clash website for your favourite sound system. The four winners selected (one for each sound) will join them on stage.
