Four years after the release of the promising ''Crossroads'' (with the singer Chola), the French band Rockers Disciples are putting out a new opus, "Far Eye", on RockDis Music, their own label.

After collaborating - under the name RockDis - with the sound system Blackboard Jungle on the project ''Musical Raid'' in June 2011, the Rouen-based outfit carries on its path and offers a roots tracklist of 14 titles for the CD version (against 6 for the 33rpm EP version, which will come out on the Blackboard Jungle label).
The voice of the Senegalese singer Daba Makourejah, already present on "Musical Raid" and recently the artist behind the track Bamba (Amoul Bayi records), sits wonderfully on this tracklist. Also of note is the presence of Mo'Kalamity, who contributes the track The Right Side.
Mixed by Valentin Payen, 9 of the 14 tracks on "Far Eye" were recorded at the MJC studio in Limours, in the Essonne, while the 5 dub versions that punctuate the album were then made by Rootical45 (Blackboard Jungle studio).
"Far Eye" is due out on 1 December. The album will also be available in digital form on iTunes.
Note that the Rockers Disciples and Daba Makourejah will play concerts in mid-December to celebrate the release of "Far Eye". Two dates are planned: 14 December in Paris (Le Petit Bain) and 15 December in Nantes (Le Ferrailleur).
