Sean Paul was rewarded at the 2012 MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards, held on Saturday in Liverpool.
The Jamaican deejay beat Popcaan, Konshens, Damian Marley and Mr. Vegas in the Best Reggae Act category.
It is his second MOBO award after the one in 2009, and he succeeds Alborosie, winner last year, and Gyptian, who took the title in 2010.
Note that Sean Paul was not present to collect his trophy, as he was in India, in the middle of a promotional tour for his album "Tomahawk Technique" (Atlantic Records).
