Released in cinemas in mid-June, Kevin Macdonald's documentary "Marley" is available from today on DVD, Blu-ray and VOD.

This 2h24 documentary on Bob Marley, which features exclusive footage provided by the Marley family, is backed up by additional interviews with several of the film's protagonists (Bunny Wailer, Stephen, Ziggy and Cedella Marley...), as well as previously unseen excerpts from the concert at Manhattan Center on 21 June 1975 (Natty Dread, Bend Down Low, Them Belly Full), a short report on Marley's legacy around the world, an interview with Kevin Macdonald, and a 48-page booklet written by author and journalist Olivier Cachin.
In all the available editions, "Marley" comes with a 12-track CD entitled "Bob Marley: Original Wailer" (see the tracklist below).
An "Ultimate Edition" Blu-ray box set, which also contains a book of photographs of Bob Marley ("Rasta Rebel", 142 pages), the film poster and five A5 photographs of the singer, is also on sale.
As an aside, it was while shooting "The Last King of Scotland" (2006), when he saw how huge the Bob Marley phenomenon was in the slums of Kampala (the capital of Uganda), that Kevin Macdonald got the idea of looking into the life of Bob Marley.
