After numerous appearances on series and maxis, the collaboration between the label Irie Ites and the deejay Trinity takes a new turn: the Le Mans-based label announces the release of his new album, "Eye To Eye".
Since they met in 2007, Trinity, known for the albums "Three Piece Suit" (Joe Gibbs) and "Shanty Town Determination" (Yabby You), has become a regular on Irie Ites productions. He has notably appeared on the Strange Things riddim (2009), the Bucket Bottom riddim (2011) and the Jah Jah Man riddim (2012). The last two riddims are on this new album, "Eye To Eye", due out on 27 May on CD (and on 1 June on legal download platforms).
Recorded between Kingston (Mixing Lab Studio) and Le Mans (Irie Ites Studio), "Eye To Eye" features thirteen combinations with artists such as Barrington Levy, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Beres Hammond, Cornell Campbell and John Holt.
Note that the CD also contains a long interview with Trinity.
