For 20 years, Dub Store Sound has been flooding Japan with Jamaican music. What began as a small record shop in Shinjuku, in the Tokyo suburbs, has become over time an essential player in reggae in the Land of the Rising Sun: distribution, a reissue label, two online shops (ReggaeRecords.com and ReggaeCollector.com) and an info site. The cherry on the cake is that Dub Store Sound has also been the representative of the Studio One label in Japan since 2006.

Dub Store is now adding a new branch by launching an online music store devoted exclusively to digital formats (wav, flac, mp3): ReggaeRecordsDownloads.
Available in English and Japanese, the shop offers releases from Jamaica, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Japan.
Reggae fans will easily find their way around the many sub-genres (ska, rocksteady, new roots, dub, nyabinghi…) set up to make searching easier. You can also browse the vast catalogue (50,000 items) by riddim or by producer.
