The news had been circulating for a few days: the company Garance Productions has been placed in compulsory liquidation.

Founded in 1979, Garance Productions became one of the major players in Jamaican music production, notably in Paris, where it had managed the Elysée Montmartre since 1989.
In March 2011, the fire at the venue dealt a serious blow to Garance Productions' business. The Garance Reggae Festival, meanwhile relocated to the South of France, in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, had carried on.
Even so, the compulsory liquidation of Garance Productions does not yet call into question the holding of the 2014 edition of the festival, if their recent statement is to be believed. Yesterday, Garance broke a long silence, saying it was "doing everything possible to enable it to continue the adventure."
Edit of 25/02/2013: The Garance Reggae Festival will indeed take place in 2014, on 23, 24, 25 and 26 July, at the Parc Arthur Rimbaud in Bagnols sur Cèze.
