Morgan Heritage are back: the royal family of reggae has announced the upcoming release of its new album, titled "Strictly Roots". Due in April (the 20th digitally, the following day in physical formats), this new album will be the first to come out on their new label CTBC Music (Cool To Be Conscious Music).
"This album is our most progressive album to date," Mojo Morgan confided. "We feel we have covered the whole spectrum of Jamaican music up to its current influence on the global music industry. The roots of those influences come from Jamaica, hence the title of the album."
"Strictly Roots" will feature thirteen tracks, including the single Put it On Me released last summer, but also Child Of Jah with Chronixx, So Amazing with the American singer J Boog and Jemere Morgan (Gramps Morgan's son) and finally Perform and Done, whose video will be unveiled shortly.
