After a long world tour that took them as far as New Zealand and Australia, Meta & The Cornerstones have started writing their third album, "Hirra". To fund the follow-up to "Ancient Power", recorded in Kingston at Tuff Gong studio and co-produced by Sidney Mills, the band have turned to crowdfunding.

The project is hosted on MusicRaiser, a platform specialising in crowdfunding for music projects. There, Meta & The Cornerstones explain what they have in mind for this third album: “With this album, we want to build bridges between reggae and flavours of world music. With Gnawa music from Morocco, Flamenco (Spain) and Fado (Portugal), Aboriginal music (Australia) and sounds from the African and American continents.”
There are still 41 days left to reach the target of 15,000 dollars. Half of the sum has been raised.
