Lauryn Hill will headline the charity concert Shaggy has organised since 2008. The former female voice of the Fugees, whose new album is reportedly due next year, will thus make a much-anticipated appearance at the charity event Shaggy puts on for the benefit of the Bustamante Hospital for Children in Kingston. This year's concert will go towards renewing the medical equipment of the cardiology and intensive care wards of the island's only paediatric hospital.

Other artists will join Lauryn Hill: Ne-Yo, Deniece Williams, Stephen Marley, Chino, Romain Virgo, Assassin, Half Pint, Wayne Marshall, Tami Chynn, Cocoa Tea, Bunji Garlin…
The concert will take place on Friday 30 December 2011 in Kingston.
To date, Shaggy and his foundation have raised a total of 57 million Jamaican dollars (488,000 euros) for the hospital.
