Bonne lecture !

Recently: from the reggae and dancehall archive
The sublime Patience, over a sample of Amadou and Mariam's Sabali, is among the gems of the album Distant Relatives, where Damian Marley and Nas's successive flows make the most of the hypnotic rhythm.
After "Rising" and "Hail To The King", Turbulence once again teams up with Fattis Burell (Xterminator) for this "Songs Of Solomon", which will certainly not go down in the annals...
A new Spanish label, Bless Burning Records, gives English veteran Solo Banton a choice single, Serious Days, in the purest UK vein, straight out of the A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio.
This year the Garance Reggae Festival was back in Paris, and its two-date edition was a return to success. Relive the event in pictures.
Silence is golden, as Christopher Ellis has learned the hard way: "I may have said too much, too soon. Now I look like a fool", sings Alton Ellis's son on Left Unsaid, taken from his EP "Better Than Love".
At a time when Jamaica has succumbed to dancehall, Don Corleon and his new roots riddims almost look like resistance fighters. The Message Riddim, classic all in all, is carried by very good tracks from Ky-Many Marley and Pressure.
With his first EP "Heavy This Year" out on Monday 17 June, Taiwan MC offers us this jingle straight from the studio. Catch him the same day on stage at La Maroquinerie.
" Africa is calling is the call we hear, which we sometimes struggle to make out", Tiwony told us in an interview. Watch the video for this new track from his latest album "Cité Soleil", shot in Guinea.
Already the fifth cut from his album "Inflammable", released last year! With Assé Paille is as lucid and incisive as ever in his lyrics, carried by a successful visual treatment.
This week, discover a new series of riddims mixed by Tarzan. You will find the riddims: Mayback 365, Klymaxx, Silicone, Panic and the Cookie Monster, with a small series of French-language exclusives.
A young artist born in Montego Bay, Tahz aka Oxygen pays tribute here to girls raised in the ghetto, whom he compares to "candles in the wind".
You are never disappointed by Tarrus Riley, who maintains a rare consistency in his singles, as with this Gimme Little One Drop, on Chimney Records' Tropical Escape riddim.
Latest single from Alpheus's superb album, "Good Prevails", Look In The Mirror extols self-confidence; its video, shot backstage at the Garance Reggae Festival, features many artists and activists from the reggae scene. Can you recognise them?
Rather quiet of late (no release in 2007), Luciano remains an essential artist. Proof of that is this "Jah is my navigator" on VP, which once again reunites the Luciano / Dean Fraser duo.
Smiley, a singer from Aruba, a small Dutch island in the Caribbean, not to be confused with General Smiley of the famous duo Michigan & Smiley, teamed up with Junior Kelly to record this Dem a Wonder.
