Bonne lecture !

Recently: from the reggae and dancehall archive
Formerly known as Yogi, Courtney John fashions old-school reggae, as on this superb single Love is, released last year. A Joe Fraser production that covers the Melodians' You Don't need me. A true rocksteady gem.
A new series from the French label Inkalink Records, the Get Ready riddim features Horace Andy & Lone Ranger, Skarra Mucci and Ras Demo.
Eagerly awaited as the dancehall release of the autumn, Busy Signal's second album "Loaded" will be out in early October. The album's first single, Tic toc, now has its video.
"Prepare for the worst, and hope for the best" says Demarco as a prelude to this song dedicated to the streets of Kingston, over a hip-hop beat. From the mixtape "No Dirt".
As part of an acoustic series, Ziggi Recado covers Mary, taken from his new album "Get Out", released on Greensleeves last month.
With Merci Miss, Kenshiro from Réunion goes against the grain of break-up songs with a humorous lyric in which he thanks his ex for dumping him.
The sequence of Fantasize and Fired Up Inside on the album "The System" is no accident, and there is a video for both tracks, with Romain Virgo on top form.
Founded in 2013 in Annecy, the Rock-A-Matik label releases its first series. The Dirty riddim, just out, features Jahdan Blakkamoore, Deadly Hunta, Guive, Merlot and Tribuman, among others.
"I have tears of blood in my eyes", sings Exco Levi on the African Children riddim, the new series from the German label Oneness Records.
Addis Pablo is following in his father's footsteps: Augustus Pablo's son releases his first melodica single. It should appear on the album "Addis Pablo meet the World", due in 2012.
While we wait for a new roots album, here is the new video from the tireless Tiwony, Bon mizik, taken from his street album "Difé Lyrical", released on his label Seven Seals Records.
Day Rave, Stephen McGregor's new riddim for the Big Ship label, has once again inspired his favourite artists. Tension reaches a peak when Vybz Kartel and Mavado go head to head on the version. Sensitive ears should steer clear.
Vybz Kartel wants to wipe the slate clean: 2009 and all its ups and downs are forgotten, and the "Teacha" wants a fresh start for 2010. It is he, with Not Nice, who directed this video.
Sean Kingston scored a smash by covering Ben E King on Beautiful Girls. This time it is Led Zeppelin, for Me Love, his second single. Which divides the editorial team just as much.
