UK Cup Clash 2008: final conflict
on Tuesday, February 26th 2008 - 11 680 views
The UK Cup Clash is set to take its bow after its 7th edition, announced for Saturday 5 April at the Stratford Rex. Like their New York counterparts at World Clash, the organisers have decided that this "Final conflict" will be the last UK Cup Clash.
Pending the next generation and Riddim Clash, which thus becomes the only date in Europe for international clashes, the Reggae Girls and Authentic Real Music team have lined up a hefty bill, since all the selected sounds have won a title at least once.
Regulars first : Bass Odyssey, title holders, Mighty Crown, Black Kat, Tony Matterhorn and Sentinel. And returns, with David Rodigan and Killamanjaro, represented by Ricky Trooper and Freddy Kruga (quite a programme !).
No change to the rules, the now-classic "vocal round" and "no profanity round" have been kept.
