Luciano settles in The Gambia
on Tuesday, March 08th 2011 - 6 512 views
After Sizzla (see news from 01/06/2010), Luciano now has his own little piece of Africa too.
While in The Gambia to take part in the New Year concert and promote his album "United States of Africa", the singer was officially received by President Jammeh in early January. The president granted him a plot of land and a house, which Luciano would like to turn into a recording studio.
He will not be able to enjoy it right away, however, as he is expected in Jamaica next week for a court hearing (to find out more about his legal troubles, see news from 08/10/2009).
