Brick & Lace's album debut has not been easy. Yet the path seemed clear when we learned of their five-album deal with Geffen Records more than a year ago (news of 08/11/2005)
Their first album, "Love is Wicked", is now on track and will come out in May on Akon's label, Konvict Records, in association with Geffen Records.
True to their influences, it will gather dancehall tracks tinged with pop and rn'b. A blend born of the crossed influences of their Jamaican father and American mother. Production is by Akon, Tony Kelly, Raphael Saadiq and Will.I.Am. A first single produced by Akon, Never Ever, is already available on I Tunes.
