Nadine Sutherland back with an album
on Tuesday, February 06th 2007 - 3 802 views
The diva Nadine Sutherland returns with a new album, Call My Name, on the Eight76 Records label (which already houses the singer Chrisinti). It is due out on 3 April 2007 and the first single, Big Tings, will be released in February. The singer, highly exposed in the mid-1990s, had a more mixed turn of the century, gradually fading from the Jamaican scene.
Her comeback is not new, as she recorded a duet with Luciano in 2005 on the Fat Eyes label (Love is the future). In 2006, already tied to Eight-7-6 Records, she placed two songs in the Top Five of the South Florida Reggae Singles Chart. "Call my Name" nonetheless ends a long silence on album of nearly ten years.
