Charts: the new order of 2008
on Friday, January 04th 2008 - 10 918 views
Perhaps it is the effect of the new year: the entire top of the chart is shaken up for the first week of 2008. It took Demarco only 2 months to reach the top of the charts, hotly pursued by Shaggy and Rik Rok, who are also climbing nicely.
A victim of their progress, Bugle cedes first place to Demarco and drops two places after two weeks at the summit, and sixteen weeks in the charts. That bodes well for a long stay in the rankings, like Beenie Man and Etana, who lose only one place after 21 and 22 weeks respectively in the charts (9th and 10th).
The biggest climb belongs to Queen Ifrica, who gains four places at once (4th) while Busy Signal, now 7th (Nah Go A Jail), and Lady Saw (Silly Dreams), 19th, lose three places.
