New signings at Greensleeves
on Wednesday, April 23rd 2008 - 9 348 views
Even though it has been bought by its main rival, VP Records, the British label Greensleeves is still very much active, and the proof is that it has just signed various deals with several artists and producers.
So, after the unfortunately mixed success of his first opus "Step Out", already on Greensleeves, the deejay of the moment Busy Signal has nonetheless renewed his collaboration with the label for several albums, the first of which should appear later this year and is already shaping up as one of the must-haves of 2008.
Gyptian, while staying with VP Records, which is announcing his second album "I Can Feel Your Pain" for this summer, has also struck a publishing and distribution deal with STB Music, the American subsidiary of Greensleeves.
Finally, the producers Shane "Jukeboxx" Brown and Llamar "Riff Raff" Brown have also agreed to join forces with the label, which should guarantee the Rhythm Albums a few more good days ahead.
