Still little known to the general public, Demarco could well become dancehall's next must-know name.

Aside from a few recent hits, such as Fallen soldiers and its superb sequel Standing soldier, but also Duppy know who fi frighten and Sort dem out, this young singer-songwriter is also behind some of the best-performing riddims of recent times.
So we owe him nothing less than the Sidewalk university (Beyonce wine by Vybz Kartel), the Gang War (One loaf a bread by Damian Marley), the Shoot out (Shoot out by Mykal Rose), the Mission (On the rock by Mavado), the Warning (Money changer by Mavado) and the Black rain (Pon di edge by Busy Signal).
Thanks to his association with Star Kutt Music and Juke Boxx Productions, Demarco has long been able to work alongside the greatest, from Sizzla to Foxy Brown, via Bounty Killer or Styles P., as a writer, performer and producer alike.
Recently, his many talents earned him a contract with the independent American label Koch, which already looks after artists such as Foxy Brown or Sean Kingston and had contributed to Sizzla's album for Damon Dash, “The Overstanding”. Won over by the very cross-over Fallen soldiers, the American label signed Demarco to a 3-album deal and thus guarantees him international distribution, handled by Universal.
