Filming of a historical documentary on reggae began on Monday 14 July in Jamaica, for broadcast on the BET network (Black Entertainment Television) in September.

Titled "The top 20 greatest moments in reggae", this ambitious project is led by "Empress" Jeanille Bonterre, a journalist of Trinidadian origin who has been involved in promoting Caribbean culture for many years.
She has also consulted some forty personalities, artists and behind-the-scenes players beforehand, among them Sly & Robbie, the promoter Copeland Forbes, Tommy Cowan and Burning Spear: first-hand sources that vouch for the seriousness of the undertaking.
