For the second year running, rain got the better of Champions in Action, which was due to be held last Saturday at Jamworld in Kingston. Tropical Storm Fay thwarted the organisers' plans, forcing them to cancel one of the last shows of the summer, with its impressive line-up. Sean Paul, Shaggy, Elephant Man, Mavado, Bounty Killer, Capleton, John Holt, George Nooks, Etana and Tarrus Riley were among those expected.
