Golden Voices Festival suspended
on Monday, August 11th 2008 - 8 296 views
Will the Golden Voices Festival, with its impressive line-up, really take place in Toulouse at the end of August? Nothing is less certain. While we were wondering about the feasibility of such a project and whether all the announced artists would actually turn up, the event is for the time being "suspended".
The reason is "the unsuitability of the Sesquières site" to host "400 to 600 campers", according to a letter from Toulouse City Hall to the organisers, who will therefore have to look for another location by the end of the month.
