Dub Station Corner in Bagnols
on Friday, May 21st 2010 - 6 761 views
Fans of dub and sound system culture have been waiting for it: the guest list for the Dub Station Corner at the Garance Reggae Festival has arrived.
A line-up that gives pride of place to homegrown sounds; but not only, since the French Blackboard Jungle and OBF Dub Sound System, who will come accompanied respectively by the Jamaican Anthony John and the Briton YT, will rub shoulders with the Londoners Jah Observer and the Swiss Lion Youth.
Soul Stereo will also be there, backed by the veteran Lone Ranger. And since the French can deejay too, La Stand High Patrol from Rennes will team up with its protégé Pupa Jim in Bagnols.
The Dub Station Corner will play inside the festival grounds on 29, 30 and 31 July from 5.30pm to 3am, with an average rotation of five sounds a night.
Also on the bill: Jacin (Marseille/FR) meets Migthy Cricket (Lille/FR), Dawa Hi-Fi (Bourges/FR), Nyabin Soundz (Rouen/FR), Ma-Kaya Sound (Birmingham/UK), Dub Livity (Caen/FR).
