"I'm here to stay". With those words, Sizzla has just confirmed to the local media that he fully intends to live in Zimbabwe and invest in the country. He has already obtained a work permit.

Sizzla has already performed in Zimbabwe three times (most recently for President Robert Mugabe's birthday - see news of 26/02/2010 - ) and each time declared himself very happy with the welcome he received. He has also already opened his recording studio.
Sizzla also denied the rumours that he was fleeing Jamaica because of trouble with the island's justice system, or that pointed to his pro-Mugabe leanings.
Another confirmation: while the singer told us at our last meeting (see the interview of 12/11/2009) of his intention to invest in agriculture, his project is about to become reality in Zimbabwe. Sizzla could indeed soon be buying a farm.
