Unlike many Jamaicans, Gramps Morgan prefers the oval ball to the round one. He has just announced that he will play next season with a semi-professional American football club, the North Georgia Gladiators, based in Atlanta.
The singer, who played the sport as a child while living in Springfield, Massachusetts, had not played for a good ten years. He recently resumed training.
Gramps is not giving up his solo music career, though, as he is booked for several concerts, notably the big "Before the dawn" night this weekend in Miami, with Buju Banton.
