While in Paris to promote his solo project "Madness", under the name Professor, Harrison Stafford also revealed the outline of Groundation's next album.
Due out in autumn 2011, its title is now known: "Building an Ark". "All the songs have been recorded by the nine musicians; we still have to record the guest artists, and we'll do that after the tour," he told us.
As for who those guests are, he won't say. "All I can say is that people won't expect it. They're not reggae artists, but it will be something major, you could say legendary. It will sound like two things you wouldn't expect to see together, but that work perfectly."
Tempting, but we won't get any more out of him. The eighth album from the Californian band picks up the narrative thread developed since the group's first records. "It's the best album we've ever made," concludes Harrison Stafford.
