Mansion Records is the name of the label freshly created by Mavado with the aim of developing young artists. That is what he said in an interview with the daily Jamaica Star: "I launched this label because I'm surrounded by a lot of young artists, and I think I can do a lot for them".

Young artists but also established members of the Alliance such as Assassin (Agent Sasco), Munga, and even "international artists" (with no further detail): "Right now, I have a lot of international connections, really a lot, so I'm not sure who will be first."
Mavado does not intend only to let these artists benefit from his fame. With Mansion Records, he also means to take his first steps in production.
The label's first single, Delilah, produced by Mavado himself (and co-produced by Logwood Productions) will be out on 24 May on iTunes, with two different mixes by Stephen McGregor and Jeremy Harding. Remixes are already planned, the first to be handled by Diplo. "We wanted to do something different. It's nothing unusual internationally, but it's something that is really not done here."
