The English label Pressure Sounds announces the release of three Augustus Pablo 45s, available at the end of June. While Augustus Pablo's work is recognised above all for his 70s roots period, the man who introduced the melodica into reggae also cut a few digital gems.
It is on this period that the three discs soon to be available from Pressure Sounds concentrate (Credential Instrumental, A Java Instrumental and Armagiddeon), recorded between 1986 and 1994. Each of the tracks comes with its version.
These 45s will be the prelude to the release of an Augustus Pablo album, again on Pressure Sounds, entitled "Message Music". It is expected in July.
