An exceptional night in memory of Daddy Nono
on Friday, November 18th 2011 - 6 410 views
An impressive line-up has been assembled to pay tribute to Daddy Nono, the founder of Blues Party, a passionate activist who left us in July.
The host of artists and sound systems who will honour his memory bears witness to the essential role Daddy Nono played in energising the reggae scene in France from the early 90s. The list is impressive: Daddy Mory, Pierpoljak, Tiwony, Mad Killah, Saï Saï, Difanga, Daddy Yod, Supa John, Pablo Master, Azrock, King Charly, Caporal Nigga, Mickee 3000, Colonel Maxwell, Junior Jim, Mr face, Professor Liv'High and many others…
The sound systems will not be outdone: Blues Party , Heartical, Soul Stereo, Shadow Killah, KZA , Scalawax, Jungle Sound, Homeless, One Way, Paname Sound Easy Style, Back ina Days…
This dizzying line-up will take turns on the stage of the Glazart in Paris on Thursday 24 November until dawn. An exceptional night at an unbeatable price: €8 (the proceeds of the night go to Daddy Nono's children). One last salute to the artist…
All the info on the night's Facebook page
and on the Glazart website.
