Far from the usual clichés that still cling to Jamaica, the director Kinsey Beck set out to help us discover the island by giving a voice to, and recounting the daily lives of, colourful characters such as Master Blaster, the taxi driver, or the young woman who set up her own bakery.
Narrated by Perry Henzel, the director of "The Harder They Come", "Man Free" offers an enlightening look at the situation of the Jamaican people, who face poverty, violence and the sarcasm of their politicians every day.
