We now know more about the release of Busy Signal's new album. Planned for 2011 but regularly pushed back, this new album, billed as 100% reggae by Busy and Shane Brown (Jukeboxx), will finally come out here at the end of April, on Wagram.
"I'm trying to save what many think is a dying genre," Busy Signal said last year, in response to the musical climate on the island. The album's title, "Reggae Music Again", will therefore surprise no one. Nor will the cover, where he is seen enthroned amid analogue equipment. There are productions by Shane Brown, Donovan Germain and Busy Signal himself, the single Come Over and a featuring with Anthony Red Rose and Joe Lickshot.
